







































For their grand Vermeer exhibition The Rijksmuseum built a website showcasing ALL the paintings by Vermeer. This was an excellent opportunity for me to make Monochromaster versions of all of them based on high quality color calibrated images.

There is doubt about Saint Praxedis being really by true Vermeer. And the median colour is so far outside of the rest that I well believe it.

Here are all the paintings ordered by date. But most dates are actually a range, some as far apart as 8 years, so it’s impossible to say if this really is the order in which these were painted.
