The first piece i made after I thought of the Monochromasters concept.
I chose Sunflowers by van Gogh to see if the concept made any sense and would work. After receiving the poster and having it on mu office wall for some time I wholeheartedly said yes this works.
The Sunflowers monochrome is the same size as the original Sunflowers painting, printed on a A0 poster. I liked the idea of using a standardized format for the series, as well as commercial printers and materials for the posters.
Printed 4/0 CMYK on A0 – 840 x 1189 mm paper 250 g/m² satinated MC paper. Printed on a Océ Colorado UV ink commercial printer. Matt laminated on printed side.
Signed on the back side. Edition of 1.
