The second movie I created a Monochromaster version from is Psycho by Hitchcock.
This was created for the exhibition MAKE SPACE (MAAK RUIMTE) in Post Erasmuslaan 5.
The building that houses PE5 is designed by Gerrit Rietveld. As Artist in Residence I was asked to present work inspired by Rietveld.
Because this is a black-and-white movie all the frames of my monochromaster version are shades of grey. Rietveld uses all sorts of shades of grey and silver, especially in the buildings on Erasmuslaan. This video became a living grey surface in the expo in the building.
